"Did you get my text?"

Alright, so call me what you wish, but without my cellphone, I am lost!
I am lucky enough to own a Blackberry ( which i paid for myself) and it is my addiction.
My cell phone goes wherever I go and is glued to my hand at all times.
Yes that's right, the first thing i do in the morning is check my phone, its with me at school (..but i never answer it i swear! ;) ) its with me at the dinner table, and sits next to me as it charges while i sleep. A day without my cellphone totally throws me off course. I can never remember the date. i never know the time, because you know, who wheres watches these days? And I'm behind on the latest gossip.

On the bright side, I'm pretty proud to say that my cellphone isn't just used for calling or texting people. I actually use it quiet productively ( sometimes).
It's my wake up call in the morning since i don't own an alarm clock. Its my calculator in math class since i always forget my calculator at home. It's my memory since I'm always typing reminders and notes on my notepad application and its my calendar! Without myself, i would most likely be late for school everyday, fail my math course, wouldn't remember anything, nor know what day it is.
Cellphones are constantly getting cut up because they 'brainwash' kids and aren't 'educational' but i am living proof that cellphones can be used productively. From the old Motorola Razor to the new I-phone, Cellphones are a huge part of today's society and aren't going anywhere for a while!
Five rules? simple!
Respect your phone
Respect the people on your phone
Don't criticize a slow text-er
Put your phone on silent in movie theater- even that is a pet peeve of mine
and finally..
never ever text when your mouth is full :)

OH just got a text, g2g ;)

  1. I enjoyed reading this blog, because without my phone I would be lost too!
I thought that your rules to phones were very clever, especially the one don't talk when your mouth is full! that is something everybody needs to remeber when using a phone, cell..etc!
